Release in the UK September 2008.  Starring Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey jnr,  so expect  lot's of antics which is so much his style in this "war movie", well sort of. 

Tropic Thunder concerns the antics of a bunch of actors, shooting a mega-budget, Apocalypse Now-style Vietnam War epic. However, the director and writer become exasperated with the prima donna stars and decide to "shoot the whole thing guerrilla style". Seemingly abandoned in the jungles of Vietnam, the actors encounter real drug traffickers. Assuming they are simply part of the film, which is now being shot with hidden cameras, the actors stay in character, blithely oblivious to the real danger.
