On the 16th August Madonna will cross 50 years young barrier. Is she still cutting it? Is she an inspiration to other artistes to strive for the heights? From a wild teenager with grand plans and visions to talented icon as a successful woman.
Also known as Madge or Mrs Guy Ritchie she wil be spending her birthday at her estate of Ashcombe, near Shaftesbury in Dorset. Rumour says that over 200 guests have been invited to the bash at the stately pile. On the other hand she may just stay at a reportly new property in New York. There has been signs of a down turn in her marriage to Guy Ritchie.
However, even now she shows no sign of being that age of 50 in fact she probably looks better now than she has ever done. Albeit due to having the time to work out frequently, personal coaching and generally good living standards. She has to be exceptionly fit to keep up with tours and gigs the latest, Sticky and Sweet Tour due to start very soon.
Women will now be encouraged to the limit at this point that they too can be as good as Madona for her age. A role model to those women to follow in her footsteps. Madonnna's step-mother says that she is an inspiration to other women that if you want to reach the highest standards you must keep going. After all she, left home and located in New York with just $35 and a pair of ballet shoes.
However some people are not sure what Madonna really is in private life. The local pub, the King John Inn in Tollard Royal ran by landlord Timothy Birks says that the Ritchie's are good customers of his. He is quoted as saying that they are nice people and seems sometimes jogging locally. But that was in 2006 and the Ritchies are seen much rarely nowadays.
At a recent press conference Madonna promoting her latest tour said that the big age moment was nothing to worry about. In fact it was an excuse to have another big birthday party she added.
Bear in mind Tina Turner was still singing and touring up to way past her 60th birthday. Let's see of Madonna will still be touring at her 60th too.
